Join us for the annual Undergraduate Philosophy Consortium on Friday, October 4th, in the Gest Center, Room 101, from 1:30-5:30pm
Guest Judge
The Philosophy Department faculty, majors, minors, and all participating students are delighted to welcome guest judge and Haverford College alumnus Bradford Gladstone ‘18, who is currently pursuing a PhD in Philosophy at Emory University.
Each year the Department of Philosophy at Haverford College hosts the Undergraduate Philosophy Consortium, for which students submit their work from past years. The Consortium is open to all students from the Bi-Co Community. At the Consortium itself, selected students present their work to a panel of judges. The judges are composed of the Student Department Representatives and a Philosophy Department alumnus. Following these presentations, two students (one who presented a paper written for a 100-level class and one for a 200/300-level class) will be given cash prizes for their work.
