The primary goal of MSA is to serve the needs of Muslim students on Haverford's campus and the Tri-co community. This includes but isn't limited to access to halal food, iftaar (meals to break the fast during Ramadan), access to a place of prayer on campus, Eid celebrations and if enough people are available maintaining a weekly Friday prayer.
In addition to this, the MSA strives to work with the Haverford community as whole, being inviting to people of all faiths or none, being open to questions and engaging in interfaith dialogue. We hope to encourage diversity, understanding and tolerance.
