In Living Color will be a bi-monthly magazine highlighting issues for POC on campus and the surrounding area. POC pieces (poems, op-eds, fine arts) will be given a space for a full description and an optional interview of the creator. Op-eds and descriptions on events, galleries, or showcases on campus (i.e. The Legacy of Lynching) will be included. There will be op-eds and descriptions of new novels, studies, and pieces by POC internationally. A calendar will be created to raise awareness for gallery openings, protests, or other off campus activities in surrounding metropolitan areas.
Interviews and pieces on the paths well-established POC in their field (emphasis on unusual occupations or STEM) with be highlighted. The magazine will also promote deeper cooperation between POC affinity groups.
