The Haverford International Relations Society seeks to:
- Build networks of students, faculty, alumni, and outside organizations within the IR field to support students interested in careers in politics, diplomacy, academia, and the private sector.
- Strengthen Haverford’s existing International Relations curriculum, and support students in all forms of their studies and research.
- Engage with all dimensions of International Relations—theoretical and practical—and provide a forum for lively discussion and debate of IR-related issues. We tackle subjects that include general foreign policy, environmental issues, immigration, public health, security and defense policy, trade, economics, international law, and a host of other areas that constitute the broad field of International Relations.
- Facilitate fun and engaging experiences for all members of the Haverford Community.
