The Ombuds Office helps people express concerns, resolve disputes, manage conflicts, and learn more productive ways of communicating.
The Ombuds Office serves as an independent, confidential, neutral, and informal resource to the diverse Haverford community—it is a resource for all faculty, staff, and students. It provides a place for every voice at Haverford to be heard and to receive impartial attention without fear of loss of privacy. The Ombuds Office seeks to promote a community characterized by fairness, dignity, and respect for all, particularly in situations of misunderstanding, conflict, and disagreement.
The Ombuds is not an emergency service. Please contact Campus Safety at 610-896-1111.
Coronavirus & Ombuds Office
The Ombuds will continue to be available to the Haverford community in the coming weeks and months. Upon scheduling an appointment, the Ombuds will discuss the meeting form and format that best meets your needs while honoring the College's efforts to manage the risk of spreading of COVID-19. Availability will be increased while the College's special operating procedures are in effect.
