The Conference for the Comparative Study of Conflict will examine the similarities among Israel and Palestine, India and Pakistan, and Northern Ireland, which according to Anirudh Suri â€˜06 are“the three major conflicts in the world today.”
On Sunday, February 29, 2004 at 3pm, the Bard Festival String Quartet, along with Schubert scholar Christopher Gibbs, will present a program of music by Beethoven (Op. 131) and Schubert (Op. 161), along with a pre-concert lecture on the connections between the two works.
On Saturday, February 21, some of Haverford's distinguished alumni of color will discuss their careers and life after college with current undergraduates in a panel discussion entitled“Navigating Life and Career.”
