Haverford College alumnus Michael B. Kim '85, through his foundation, the MBK Educational Foundation, has pledged $7.5 million toward construction of a new dormitory that will be sited adjacent to, and constructed in tandem with, another new dorm that received separate funding a year ago.

Samuel Freeman '97 has donated an electric truck to the College for use by Facilities Management and Arboretum staff members. The truck serves as an environmentally conscious alternative to gas-powered golf carts.

After serving as Hurford Humanities Center-sponsored interns at the Philadelphia Museum of Art this summer, Janet Yoon '10 and Andreea Bailuc '11 are pursuing exciting new opportunities in the art world.
