We (Annie Tague and Fay Strongin) are excited to invite you to (In)Habitation, a collaborative exhibition of prints that we have created throughout our past four years at Haverford! The show is sponsored by the John B. Hurford Humanities Center Student Arts Fund and is part of David Richardson's Boast series--a series of events that have taken ol' squash court #1 by storm.
WHAT: (In)Habitation WHEN: Sunday, May 9, 6:30-8 PM WHERE: The Drop Shot Space, Old Squash Court #1 under Ryan Gym WHO: you and everyone you bring along PERKS? snacks!
(In)habitation is a meditation upon habitation. The title describes the juxtaposition of our two bodies of work, an action that can happen only as they come together. (In)habitation also reminds us that in any exhibition, the active process of inhabiting a physical space (by the body of work, artist, and ‘viewer’) is inevitable, deliberate, even necessary; this is especially the case, in curious and provocative ways, when you decide to put up an art show in an old squash court and we can't wait for you to join us to see what happens!
with enthusiasm, Annie and Fay
