Student Resource People (SRPs)
Stevie Campos-Seligman '20
Hey folks! My name is Stevie and I use they/them/theirs pronouns. I’m a rising sophomore and will be majoring in some sort of social science/humanities thing (I’m still in the process of figuring out what that is exactly). I was born and raised in Berkeley, California, the land of DIY punk music and government-sanctioned compost bins. On campus, I’ve worked at the Dining Center, Haverford’s Mentoring and Student Teaching Program (MAST), and Lunt Cafe. I am also on the executive board for Haverford’s music booking collective, FUCS, the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA), and will be a Peer Awareness Facilitator (PAF) next semester. I’m in The Mainliners, one of Haverford’s a capella groups, a punk band of Haverford students called Baby Bush, and sometimes play in pit orchestras for the Greasepaint musicals on campus. Next year I am going to be living in Haverford’s very first installation of LGBTQ+ housing, QHouse. Off campus, I am also in a pop-punk band called Sarchasm that I’ve been in since I was eleven years old! I am so excited to meet all of you! If you have any questions of any sort, you are more than welcome message me on Facebook or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sam Danish '20
Hey everyone! I’m Sam Danish (yes my last name is Danish like the pastry and the people) and I use they/them/theirs or he/him/his pronouns. I’m a rising sophomore and I’m still trying to decide my major. I’m from Washington, D.C. so not too far away. At Haverford, I work at the Women*s Center, am involved in various LGBTQ+ things on campus, and next year I will be a CP on Tritton Upper East which is also the gender sensitive hall (also the hall that Stevie is the PAF on). This summer I’ll be interning on Capitol Hill with my representative Jamie Raskin. I participated in TriCo last year and am so excited to be a part of your TriCo experience as well as a support for y’all during your freshmen year. Add me on Facebook and my email is email@example.com if you have any questions.
Nhi Nguyen '18 (lead SRP)
Hi Everyone! I’m Nhi Nguyen & I use she/her/hers. I’m an Anthropology major with a Museum Studies minor. I was born and raised in Northeast Philly, so I know the city really well and am happy to give advice on easy ways to use public transport in and around the city! On campus I work at the Science Library and do occasional work for the Anthro department. I’m also a student intern for the Office of Multicultural Affairs and am an intern at the Penn Museum that’s in Center City! During my time at Haverford, I’ve been a PAF (peer awareness facilitator), PAF Head, been on Haverfest Committee, studied abroad in Belgium during the Fall of 2016, and tried every kind of pizza that our Dining Center has to offer. This summer I’ll be interning at the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum! I participated in Tri-Co the summer before my first year and am super excited to come back as an SRP for this year’s cohort and I’m excited to meet you all! Hey friends! My name is Claire Mao and I use she/her/hers pronouns. I will be a sophomore next year and will most likely major in Political Science with a minor in Latin American, Iberian, and Latino Studies. I'm from Seattle, WA, so I'm a pretty long ways away from home. Being a Seattleite, I absolutely love it when it rains here. Haverford is really beautiful in the rain! I’m glad that I had the opportunity to meet the people I did during Tri-Co and am eager to work with Nathan to help you transition into a college environment! Please don’t hesitate to reach out through Facebook or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). I would be happy to answer any questions or just chat with you. Welcome to Haverford – I can’t wait to meet you all!
