Urban Policy Field Trip

Haverford’s rigorous academic program focuses on individual growth, intellectual exploration, and pushing the boundaries of each discipline. Many classes are taught seminar style with an emphasis on discussion and debate, and often involve field work outside the classroom.

Students in Political Science Professor Steve McGovern's "Urban Policy" class visited Jefferson Station during a field trip to examine economic development initiatives undertaken in the past 25 years to revitalize Center City Philadelphia. Photo: Caleb Eckert '17
