Oscar Wang '14, founder/CEO of College Together, recently started another new program that places ambitious college-age youth in paying jobs at some of Philly's top restaurants & prepares them for careers in the hospitality industry.
The Economics Department and the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship collaborated to create the Annual Economics Alumni Forum series in 2008. This year’s session focused on President Trump's economic policies on tariffs and trade. Former Deputy Secretary of Commerce Bruce Andrews ’90 and Harvard Professor Marc Melitz ’89 led the discussion along with moderator Jennifer Kowalski ’17.
Dominique Debucquoy-Dodley ‘11 is communications manager for Burning Man Project, the San Francisco-based nonprofit that runs the annual event and spearheads many other cultural, educational, civic, and artistic programs year-round. He oversees communication efforts related to all of the organization’s initiatives, but devotes the most energy to Burning Man itself, managing components such as press admission, social media channels, and volunteer groups.
