Funding & Grants
While the College’s commitment to low-income and first-in-family students finds deepest expression in our financial aid policy, there are often needs that are felt in the regular flow of a student’s life which fall outside the parameters of overall financial aid packages. LIFTFAR aims to help fill these gaps.
Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA)
The OMA provides funding up to $300 for an individual or a group to help create a more inclusive culture for underrepresented and marginalized identities. Examples of events or initiatives funded can be be receptions, workshops, exhibitions or traveling to attend events.
Center for Peace and Global Citizenship (CPGC)
CPGC offers support and funding for academic and co-curricular learning experiences that feature applied, ethical action off-campus, including summer internships, courses, conferences, and post-bac fellowships. Fellowship funding includes supplements for students with higher financial needs.
Hurford Center for Arts and Humanities (HCAH)
HCAH offers an array of stipends, fellowships, and assistantships designed to cultivate rigorous undergraduate scholarship and encourage student creativity across academic divisions.
Student Engagement & Leadership
The Student Engagement Funding Board provides funding for students and groups for student-centered, all-campus events and initiatives. Student Engagement & Leadership also offers SEPTA tickets for students attending events related to civic or cultural engagement.
Marilou Allen Office of Service & Community Collaboration (OSCC)
The OSCC offers reimbursement for travel costs related to service and advocacy work off-campus. You can also request to use the office's van for transportation
Students' Council oversees and provides budgets to student groups and organizations on campus for various purposes, such as equipment, events, and traveling etc.
