When the Dining Center closes over breaks, it can be challenging to find food and sustain yourself. The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) coordinates a food pantry in the Multicultural Center (MCC), where students staying on campus can use the kitchen and the offered ingredients to cook their own meals. OMA also coordinates with multiple offices who host meals where students are invited to come and learn about what different offices do.
Internships & Externships
Breaks can be a great opportunity for professional development. The Center for Career and Professional Advising (CCPA) provides ample tips and resources for finding internships over the prolonged breaks. Additionally, CCPA coordinates externships over spring break with many off-campus programs where students can learn from professionals for a short period of time.
