Event Calendar

Douglass Day is an annual program that celebrates the chosen birthday of Frederick Douglass (2/14) and features a series of transcribe-a-thons where people work together on a community-sourced transcription project.

This year we will transcribe the general correspondence of Frederick Douglass from the Library of Congress using the By the People transcription platform. The event will be hosted on February 14, 2024 in Lutnick 232 from 12-3pm. All are welcome to stop by at any time or to stay for the whole program. We will also have laptops available on site and cake!
