Event Calendar
Horticulturist, Charles Bone will lead you on a tour of the smaller gardens of Haverford.
You may be familiar with the Pinetum, Nature Trail, and the Duck Pond, but have you ever taken the time to look at some of our smaller gardens on campus? Join us to see gardens with interesting flora and learn how they came to be. Charles will lead the way through a tour of the lesser-visited gardens of Haverford College. Included stops will be the Peace Garden, Hilles Volunteer Garden, The President's Native Plant Garden, Gertrude C. Teaf Garden, and Denis Asian Garden.
Please wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather. In the case of inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule the walk among participants. Parking can be found in our visitor parking lot and participants will meet for the tour at the Facilities Management Building.
