Two-Part Workshop with Rowhome Productions

In this two-part workshop, Philadelphia-based audio producers Rowhome Productions will discuss various career paths in audio storytelling (public media, podcast industry, and beyond), and give some insight into the process of producing radio documentaries, podcast series, and audio tours.
The first workshop session will be a broad overview of audio storytelling styles and formats. Audio work from across genres and around the world will be shared and discussed. The second workshop session will be a more hand-on session focusing on audio storytelling techniques and skills. Rowhome will share the processes and tools used to create podcast series and radio documentaries. They’ll also discuss career paths in the audio storytelling industry. While attendance at both sessions isn’t required, it’s recommended!
Rowhome Productions is a Philadelphia-based audio production company. They make radio documentaries, podcasts, and audio tours. Founded by veteran producers Alex Lewis and John Myers, they’re a full-service agency built on decades of combined experience crafting and delivering high quality audio stories. Rowhome Productions is currently collaborating with Associate Professor of Anthropology and Environmental Studies Joshua Milton Moses on his new podcast, Swamped.
