The students of Shiamin Kwa's course EALC 110: Introduction to Chinese Literature have been working on translations and adaptations of classical Chinese poetry this semester. Through a variety of activities, they have been asked to consider the different ways that a poem can be experienced. The artist Laura Park, who will be visiting the class to help the class visualize their poetic adaptations, will also be giving a public lecture about the use of words and images in her own work that afternoon. Please join us in the Quita Woodward Room in Thomas Hall, Bryn Mawr College, on November 10, 2015 at 500 PM. This event is free and open to the public thanks to the support of Bryn Mawr College Blended Learning in the Humanities, the Class of 1902 Lecture Fund, and the Tri-Co Comics Studies Working Group.
