Alongside counseling services, CAPS is occasionally able to provide workshops and events for the campus community. CAPS outreach efforts are supported by the CAPS Student Liaisons, student workers who aim to provide a bridge between CAPS staff and the student body. For outreach related questions, reach out to kmohamed [at] haverford.edu (Kaamila Mohamed), the outreach coordinator.
HAVERCare is a training developed by CAPS staff for members of the Haverford College community to foster understanding and skills in responding to students who may be experiencing stress, distress, or crisis.
The next HAVERcare training for students will take place at 5:00 p.m. on April 12 in the Swarthmore Room (DC119). Along with discussing responding to and supporting others, this training will additionally focus on setting limits and boundaries.
Please contact kmohamed [at] haverford.edu (Kaamila Mohamed) if you’re interested in learning more.
