The staff at Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) listens carefully to the concerns students have about their lives, in a safe, supportive and confidential setting.
Students speak about a wide range of topics that upset, frighten, confuse, thrill, sadden, or anger them. Working collaboratively with counselors helps students better understand what factors are contributing to their concerns. Greater insight and awareness helps students regulate their lives and better determine what decisions they want to make. Read our Mission Statement to learn more about CAPS.
Virtual & In Person Therapy
Unlike last year, CAPS services will be hybrid. In person and virtual individual counseling will be offered. You may indicate your preference when you request an appointment. We will do our best to honor requests, but due to availability and timing, it may not always be possible to do so. Drop-in sessions will continue to happen virtually.
Have questions? Email hc-caps [at] haverford.edu.
Zoom Confidentiality
If you have any concerns about confidentiality via zoom, please reach out to your therapist! Visit Prepare for a Zoom Therapy Session to learn how we use a HIPAA compliant version of Zoom to provide services to students.
