Our Plans Moving Forward
Please know that we remain eager to invite our class of 2020 back to campus for a celebration in 2021, or once it is safe to do so, when we can recognize the class with a more fulfilling Commencement, incorporating treasured Senior Week traditions. We will be in touch with the class once the possibilities become more clear. Contact fcantor [at] haverford.edu (Franklyn Cantor '12), chair of Commencement Committee, with any questions.
March 2021 Update
As Commencement Committee plans for the class of 2021's Commencement, we are still mindful of the class of 2020 and our commitment to welcome the class back to campus for an in-person celebration. As we work with the College's Health Protocols Group to evaluate and respond to the public health landscape, we know that this spring and summer is too soon to be able to safely organize on-campus events for the class of 2020. Even as conditions improve, the gathering we envision is not possible within the current context's significant health and safety restrictions. We will continue to communicate with you once we have preliminary ideas for timing and logistics. Members of the class who would like to change their contact information for this purpose may do so using this webform.
Our online celebration of accomplishment took place on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 1 p.m. EDT. Our seniors had already received a care package from the College, and students and families shared photos and memories across social media using #celebrateHaverford20. We all continue to salute your achievements and applaud your status as Haverford alumni. Congratulations!
We invited all families and friends of our senior class to share well wishes, congratulations, or a warm hello with a video message at https://flipgrid.com/haverford2020
