Ridings signed a minor-league contract with the Yankees on Monday, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
An eighth-round pick of the Cubs in 2016, Ridings has yet to advance beyond the rookie-ball level. He was most recently a member of the Kansas City organization in 2019, posting a 5.91 ERA in 56.1 innings for the Royals' Pioneer League affiliate.
