Department of Chemistry
Chemistry Colloquium
Each Friday afternoon (and occasionally at other times) during the academic year, students and faculty meet together to learn about and discuss some topic of cutting-edge research in Chemistry or related fields at our departmental seminar. Each year we invite about a dozen leading scientists from other academic institutions, industry or government labs to make presentations at our seminar.
On Friday afternoons when we do not have an outside speaker, our seminar is led by our students discussing their senior research projects.
At Bryn Mawr College
The Chemistry Colloquium at Bryn Mawr College provides our students and faculty additional opportunities to hear and meet with noted chemists and other scientists doing work of interest to chemists.
Seminars are open to the public.
