For Faculty & Staff
Faculty and staff can play an instrumental role in supporting students as they explore potential paths after Haverford. Here are ways you can contribute to Haverford students’ career and professional success.
Letters of Recommendation
Better understand dates and deadlines for Fellowships, Law School, Medical School, and the Health Professions. Learn about successful elements of a letter of recommendation, and how letters may differ for various programs—both in process and in recommended content.
Don’t Cancel Class!
If you find you need to miss a class, invite CCPA to talk to your students about translating the knowledge and skills they’re gaining from your course into valuable career-related skills, writing effective resumes/cover letters, or preparing for the internship or job search.
Programs & Alumni Panels
Collaborate with CCPA on organizing an alumni career panel or other career-related programs/events featuring your majors.
Learn what your graduates do after Haverford by exploring alumni outcomes by industry and graduate study and reviewing senior classes’ first destinations after graduation.
Promote our professional alumni networking platform to your students. Alumni have volunteered to provide information and advice about their field, choosing a major, resume advice, interviewing tips, being first in college, and many other help topics.
