Handshake
Handshake serves as the central online employment hub for Haverford students and alumni. Apply for internships or jobs, publish your resume, and sign up for on-campus interviews, career events, and appointments with career advisors, fellowship advisors, and graduate or professional school advisors.
Students can log in to their Handshake account directly by clicking on the blue button labeled, "Haverford College Single Sign On" and using their regular Haverford network login credentials. Interviews
Employers conduct interviews for entry-level positions and some internships starting in early September. The first application deadlines are in late August/early September. Unless otherwise noted, all interviews are virtual in format. As a policy issue, CCPA does not provide excuses for missing classes for interviews. Learn more in Handshake.
Employer Information Sessions & Workshops
Employers and graduate schools sponsor events to share details on the opportunities they offer and give students a chance to ask questions. Skill-building workshops are also offered. RSVP in Handshake.

One-stop consulting prep. Provides recruiting, interview prep, and skill-building help with interactive courses on topics like developing an effective resume and cover letter (with templates), networking (including how to write an effective cold networking email that will get opened), interviewing (with example videos, specific case interviews, drills, and 500 practice cases), and Excel and PowerPoint training.
