Admission Process Updates 2016-17
- We have instituted an Early Decision II plan, beginning with this year's admission process. This will be a traditional, binding ED2 process; the deadline for applications will be January 1, with students hearing a response by February 15.
- We have also made some additional adjustments to our standardized testing policy. We require students to submit the results of the SAT (old OR new version) or the ACT, and nothing else. We no longer require students to submit SAT subject tests. Their absence will NOT be noted whatsoever; however, like AP scores, if a student would LIKE us to see them they can certainly submit them to us. We will not, however, evaluate the essay component of either the SAT or the ACT in our evaluations whatsoever.
- And we will now be giving full consideration to undocumented students in our admission process. Previously, we were constrained by our limits for funding students without US Citizenship or Permanent Residency status; but we have opened these up in ways that will allow us to offer admission to undocumented students and to meet 100% of their demonstrated need.
