Admission Visitor Policies

We are so excited to welcome you to campus!

By registering for the tour, you agree to the following expectations:

  • You will remain masked at all times while on campus (including while you are outside).
  • You will practice social distancing if you are interacting with anyone outside your family.
  • If you or anyone in your group feels unwell, thinks they may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or are waiting for COVID-19 test results, you will reschedule your visit for another time.

In order to align with our community standards, we are requiring all visitors who are entering the lobby and/or taking part in a student-led tour or information session to be fully vaccinated (including a COVID booster, if eligible). We may ask for proof of vaccination when you check-in with our receptionist. If you have a medical or religious vaccination exemption, please kabels [at] (email Kathleen Abels), Director of Admission, prior to your visit.

We ask that you limit your time on campus to the allotted time reflected on your registration.

Parking: Please use the Lancaster Avenue entrance and park in one of the spots reserved for admission visitors either in front of the Whitehead Campus Center or in the South Parking Lot.

Note: Due to the rise in area Covid cases, we will only offer self-guided tours through January 24. The Admission office will remain closed to the public and you will not have access to any campus buildings. Please follow our masking and safety guidelines while visiting our campus.

  • Special Instructions for Self-Guided Tours

Self-guided tours will only be available during times when the Admission Office is closed. For this reason, you are unable to enter any buildings on campus. The Whitehead Campus Center may be open during your visit; you may enter this building in order to use the restrooms. However, we cannot guarantee that it will be accessible when you are on campus.

We have limited the number of visitors that can be on campus at any given time for your safety and the safety of our community. When registering, please note the total number of people in your group so we have an accurate sense of the number of people on campus during these self-guided tour times.

You may arrive on campus at any time during your registered 2-hour time slot, but we ask that you leave campus by the end of your assigned time slot. A 5:00-8:30 p.m. time slot will be available Monday–Friday and we have morning and afternoon time slots available on the weekends.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit. We hope you enjoy your time at Haverford!
