Additional Course Info | Class Number: 1772 This course covers the history of central banking, with emphasis on the Federal Reserve. We will study the creation and evolution of the Fed, its role in economic and financial crises, and current debates in monetary policy. ; Prerequisite(s): ECON 302 or ECON B202 at Bryn Mawr; ECON 304 (can be taken concurrently).
