Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2810 This course concentrates on one question in particular: How do culture, identity, politics, and power interact in shaping who we are? We take up this question by assessing theories that capture the relationship between personal and public conceptions of familiar modern identities such as race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and disability.
