Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2875 Despite being one of the most widely endorsed concepts in our world today, democracy is in crisis. This course will consider the possibility that current shortcomings in democratic practice are rooted in contemporary Western political philosophy’s tendency to see democracy and liberalism as synonymous.
