Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2207 This course examines the arenas of gender, sex and intimacy as crucial to the formation of U.S. foreign policy and U.S. imperialism in and after two key historical moments, often summarized as the Spanish-American War and the Cold War. The course looks at how U.S. encounters abroad defined personal intimacies and everyday lives.
