Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2426 The principles and mechanisms by which the chromosome number is reduced and segregated during the production of gametes are studied in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. Genetic, molecular, and microscopic methods are used to isolate and examine mutant strains which fail to execute meiosis properly.
