Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2237 An introduction to the fundamental problems of political philosophy, especially the relationship between political life and the human good or goods.; An introduction to the fundamental problems of political philosophy, especially the relationship between political life and the human good or goods. This course introduces students to political theory and provides an excellent starting point for students unfamiliar with this historical and philosophical approach to the study of politics. Readings from Herodotus, Thucydides, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle, Epictetus, Polybius, and Machiavelli. Please feel free to contact the instructor for more information.
