The work includes intensive oral practice sessions. The course meets five hours a week in non-intensive sections. This is a year-long course and students must register for both semesters.; This course will help you develop your French skills in a comprehensive manner, including proficiency building in the five communication modes of interpretive listening, interpretive reading, presentational speaking, presentational writing, and interpersonal communication. It will also introduce you to the cultural and ethnic diversity of the francophone world, while deconstructing clichés about France.
