This course investigates the configuration and examination of the natural world in ancient Greek and Roman authors, archaeological materials, and the visual arts, incorporating approaches drawn from eco-criticism, cultural studies, and aesthetics.

Prerequisites: As with most 200-level courses in Classical Studies and many other 200-level courses in the Humanities, this course does not have prerequisites.
