Summer @ Haverford
Summer at Haverford is sunny, beautiful, and very busy. From June through August, we host sports and educational camps, conferences, and weddings.
The Haverford campus is an ideal setting for almost any program or event. The campus has a unique character and charm and excellent athletic facilities, and our classrooms and auditoriums are available to be rented out. The Great Hall is a wonderful location for a wedding reception, as a number of our alumni and employees can attest. We also offer in-house catering. Our Office of Summer Programs can provide detailed information about the many options for summer at Haverford.
Current summer camps and programs at Haverford include the Serendipity Day Camp, a program for children ages 6-13 years old that is sponsored by the College under the umbrella of the 8th Dimension, a student-led service club. The camp is usually directed by Haverford alumni, and many of the camp counselors are Haverford students. Several of the Julian Krinsky camps and programs are at Haverford as well, including Golf, Tennis, and Dance camps. The popular Sixers Camp, a basketball day camp, also takes place during the Haverford summer.
