The Haverford/Bryn Mawr Chorale invites all Bi-Co faculty, staff, families, and friends with at least some choral experience to join the Chorale this semester in performing an all-Beethoven program: the last movement of his Symphony No. 9 (his setting of Schiller's "Ode to Joy"), and the Kyrie and famously enigmatic Agnus Dei from his last great work, the Missa Solemnis.
The Chorale is directed by Associate Professor of Music Thomas Lloyd.
Rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 11, from 6:50-8:50 p.m. on the stage of Marshall Auditorium. In addition to performing the full program on Sunday, December 8, at 3:00 p.m., we will be performing the "Ode to Joy" (also with full orchestra) at the special concert on Inauguration evening, October 26.
The Marshall stage is home on Wednesday nights to the largest regular expression of what it means to be "Bi-Co." We hope you'll join us!
