On Tuesday, July 16, 2013, the arboretum crews will be applying a combination of Banner Max and Daconil Weatherstik to control fungal diseases. Banner Max/Daconil carry a caution label, which means it can cause temporary but substantial eye injury. It is harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. May cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Once the material dries it is no problem. Please stay away form the applicator if you see them working. Rain or high winds will cancel application. Treated areas will be monitored and flagged during application.
