This week, leading up to the April 28 Joe Schwartz 3K Run/Walk, is ALS Awareness Week in and around the Haverford College community. Each day will have different events, raising awareness about ALS and the 3K itself.
Monday, April 22
2:30-4:00 p.m. in Sharpless Auditorium
Guest Lecturer: Dr. Thomas Maniatis – professor and chairman of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Maniatis will discuss his research on the causes of ALS.
Tuesday, April 23
10 a.m.-1 p.m. & 3 p.m.-6 p.m. in Fitness Center
Synergy Massage: FREE 30 minute session.

Wednesday, April 24
