We are excited to announce a talk and discussion by the director of the highly acclaimed Penn Program for Mindfulness, Michael Baime. This talk will be an introduction to mindfulness-based stress management, with special attention to its application in the academic workplace.
All Tri-Co faculty and staff are warmly welcome to attend. The talk will be held on Thursday, April 4, at 4.30 p.m., in the Lecture Hall of English House, at Bryn Mawr College. Wine, cheese and other light refreshments will be served.
If you have been interested in mindfulness, and perhaps even considered enrolling in the Penn program’s classes, this lecture is a good (and free!) opportunity to find out more about the practice.
This lecture is sponsored by the Mellon Tri-Co Faculty Forum, as part of our “Continuing Career” programming.
Dr. Baime is a Tri-Co alum, and now teaches mindfulness-based stres smanagement and communication techniques to faculty and students at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
