Golden Baobab Gifts
Looking for a unique gift this holiday season? Beautiful prints by Ghanaian illustrators are on display in the Multicultural Center (Stokes 106) and are available for purchase via donation.
With a minimum donation of 50 dollars, you can receive a print from Golden Baobab’s inaugural workshop for illustrators of children’s stories. Golden Baobab is non-profit social enterprise based in Accra, Ghana, that works to inspire and promote African children’s literature. This past summer Golden Baobab organized a children’s illustration workshop in Accra. Nine young, talented Ghanaian illustrators produced beautiful prints to compliment a Golden Baobab Prize-winning story from 2010. Donations can be made through Global Giving.
