Student Arts Groups
Many of Haverford’s most popular student-led organizations are arts-oriented. There’s something for almost everyone — and if you don’t see a group that piques your interest, you’re encouraged to start your own.
Constructed in spring 2007, The _lack _ox Theatre is an interim student performance space located in the basement of the Dining Center. In it, you'll find student groups performing impov, GreasePaint Productions making musicals, student directors putting on plays, and student solo artists and bands hosting concerts. Special thanks to Julie Eubank '08 who was the driving force in the construction of the space and deserves much credit for helping to bring another student performing arts space to Haverford. A permanent Black Box Theatre is slated for construction upon completion of the Campus Master Plan in 2008.
