The Haverford Experience
Located just ten miles from Center City Philadelphia, Haverford’s
campus provides the perfect setting for any camp or conference.
Haverford’s varied architectural styles, park-like grounds, nature walk
and duck pond, give the campus a unique character and charm.
The city and surrounding area combine a unique blend of old and new. The
history of the nation is relived at Independence National Park, the
Liberty Bell, and Valley Forge National Park. Downtown Philadelphia
offers theatre, ballet, symphonic orchestras, and restaurants. The
Philadelphia area offers more than 100 museums, including the Franklin
Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. New York City, Washington,
DC, and the New Jersey seashore are all easy day trips from the
Haverford campus.
During the summer months, June through August, Haverford is home to many
different sports and educational camps. Haverford’s classrooms,
auditoriums, athletic facilities and beautiful campus provide all the
resources necessary to make any camp successful. The Conference Office,
along with all of Haverford’s support services, strive to make your
experience safe, enjoyable and worry free. We encourage you to look
