The senior biology major spent her study abroad semester in Barbados, where a plethora of wildlife and environmental activism made it the perfect place to study biology and some of its real-world applications. -
Valerie Smosna joined the IES program in Rome for study abroad and utilized the rich culture of art and sculpture in the beautiful city to continue her studies in art history. -
Jason Kunen, who is majoring in philosophy, spent his spring studying at the University of Hawaiʻi. He brought back many lessons about the spiritual and meditative life inspired by a beautiful landscape and a deeply philosophical culture. -
Nora Landis-Shack, a psychology major with a peace, justice and human rights concentration and a French minor, spent the spring semester studying at The Sorbonne-Nouvelle and Sweet Briar College in Paris where she was able to improve her French language skills and take in the rich culture. -
The economics major spent the 2011-2012 academic year studying at Mansfield College at Oxford University.

The Cultural Anthropology major and Education minor spent the fall semester in Mendoza, Argentina, studying at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and the Universidad de Congresso. -
The anthropology major studied abroad in Buenos Aries, Argentina, where she had a wonderful time enjoying the cultural attractions of the city and took courses at the local university. -
Dylan is a junior Growth & Structure of Cities major with a minor in History of Art. He spent the fall 2010 semester studying at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and living with a host family in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. -
Mirarchi spent the 2009-2010 academic year studying at Mansfield College, Oxford University, where he excelled academically and immersed himself in British university life.

Vanessa Douglas, an anthropology major, spent the fall 2010 semester in Madrid through IES Madrid, where she was able to practice her Spanish language skills while taking engaging classes. She also explored the beautiful city with guided tours and on her own. -
The Russian major spent the fall 2010 semester in St. Petersburg, with the program ACTR Russia, where he pursued a passion for Russian language and culture that he developed in high school.
