News & Events: Photo Contest
Each Spring, the Study Abroad Office sponsors a photo contest. Students who studied abroad the previous year are eligible to enter in 2 photos in one of 3 categories; Events/Faces, Nature/Wildlife or Places. Photos are evaluated by an anonymous panel of judges. Cash prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Here is a fine opportunity to combine an adventure abroad with serious picture-taking and possibly to become "famous" (and just a bit richer) in the bargain. Congratulations to the winners of the 2012 Study Abroad Photo Contest! Many thanks to our 6 independent judges who had the difficult task of selecting winners in our three categories: Faces, Places and Cultural Encounters.

A reception was held on Wednesday, May 13th at 4:00 pm in the Multicultural Center, and the winners were presented with certificates and prizes.
