- Tuition (Compulsory): Students pay tuition to University of Aberdeen and room and board fees to Haverford.
- Activities Fee (Compulsory): Approximately $US 350/year (half for one semester). This covers all sports events and College sponsored events, including concerts, movies, etc. Visit the Student Activities site >
- Health Insurance (Compulsory): Aberdeen students may purchase Haverford's insurance or they must demonstrate that they have adequate insurance coverage for the USA, including evacuation and repatriation. Students will be required to fill out a health form to submit to Haverford's Health Services.
- Security Deposit (Refundable): $US 1,200.(half for Fall semester) An account is set up into which the student must deposit this amount into the Bookstore account. They may use this account to purchase certain things from the Haverford bookstore. It will also be used for any debts incurred by the student such as medications provided by the Health Center, damage to their room, lost keys, etc. The balance at the end of the exchange period is refunded to the student.
