Hey all! I'm currently a freshman and with a semester under my belt I can say that I feel quite at home! However, the complexities of internet profiles are somewhat a mystery but I hope that everyone (especially you, prospective students) finds this informative!
I'm pretty much the typical liberal arts school student in that I want to learn everything and anything all at once. There are too many things in this world to be discovered! But Haverford is certainly the place to start in my opinion.
There is a dizzying array of classes and extra curriculars (clubs, speakers etc) that are available to aid in the quest for knowledge. I have to say I probably have not done the best job of utilizing all of them but those I am involved in (The Haverford Review, Poetry Reading Group, and SAGA) are magnificent. Hopefully I will have more to say after joining more next semester though!
My Top Five: Beautiful Places in the World
- New York City (my hometown so I'm probably a bit biased)
- Nice, France
- Masada, Israel
- Sinio, Italy
- The Berkshires, Massachusetts
