Hi! I'm Mary.
I graduated from Haverford in May of 2009 with a major in biology and a minor in Spanish. I have enjoyed my time at Haverford so much: I have formed some very strong relationships, and I have been challenged in the classroom. Some of my favorite Haverford moments have been working in Professor Rachel Hoang's lab on my senior research, taking classes on public health and bioethics, and working with the Student Activities Office. I also enjoy working with women and their health as a birth doula and a volunteer at Planned Parenthood.
I am very happy to be a Haverford House fellow for 2009-2010 and working with the Philadelphia GROW Project/Witnesses to Hunger. I am interested in pursuing a career in nursing or public health after that.
