I am a current Haverford Junior pursuing a major in Economics with a Chinese minor. On campus, I am deeply involved in Student Affairs, more specifically Student Activities. I am a standing member of 'Fords Against Boredom (FAB) which is the non-alcoholic programming committee, Commencement Committee and the Student Activities Director Search Committee. In addition to my committee involvement, I am also a current Intern for On-Campus Activities and Special Events at the Haverford College Student Activities Office which is a part of the Deans' Office.
In previous years, I was also a member of Haverfest Committee as well as a Peer Awareness Facilitator as a part of Haverford's Customs Program for freshmen orientation.
I spent the past summer interning at Winebow, Inc., which is the 8th largest importer of wine and spirits in America. This opportunity was made possible by the generous support of an anonymous alum through the Whitehead Internship Program honoring John C. Whitehead '43 and the Bi-College Career Development Office.
I have a keen interest in the technology industry, with a concentration in the video game sector and have written a research paper into the effects and causes of video game addiction in relation to Chinese urbanism as part of my Topics in World Cities course. I am an avid reader of IGN, Kotaku, and Gamasutra. More personally, I am from the picturesque city of Seattle, Washington and am an ardent fan of the Seattle Seahawks. I enjoy reading, video games, and playing board games such as Risk and Settlers of Catan.
I hope that reading my profile has offered a better insight into my life and personality as well as my Haverford experience. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate and feel free to contact me. My email address is on the right.
