For the last 20 years, I have lived in Abu Dhabi, Toronto, and Dubai, the largest chunk of time being spent in the latter of the three. I am a Pakistani-Canadian of dual-citizenship, but I pretty much consider Dubai my hometown.
This year I am an Upperclassman Advisor on Gummere 1/1, and I'm a junior Math and Economics double major. While my majors are fairly quantitative, I enjoy studying history, law, political science, and some philosophy. My current plans for after graduation involve finance or economics research in the financial industry, with the possibilty of a PhD in the future.
My activities outside of the class include the South Asian Society, the Haverford College Humtones, Multicultural Scholars Program, the Bi-Co Finance Club, and The Women's Center.
