Hi everyone! My name is Kate and I'm a junior French major and psychology minor from northern NJ. When I'm not set up in my favorite Magill carrel with my readings and black tea, I'm usually tutoring at the Writing Center, working at Bryn Mawr's Phoebe Anna Thorne preschool, remembering how to play the piano, or cooking with garlic and olive oil. This year I'm studying at the Sorbonne in Paris through the Sweet Briar Junior Year in France program.
My Top Five: Things I'd like to do in the next five years.
- Learn more languages (Spanish, in particular).
- Volunteer in Francophone Africa.
- Read all of Proust's À la recherche du temps perdu.
- Expand my knowledge of pop culture (I have been embarrassingly isolated from it for most of my life)
- Learn how to ballroom dance.
